On Friday, May 2nd – the day after thousands of Bay Area residents marched for
immigrants’ rights – immigration agents arrested about 60 workers at taquerias across
San Francisco and the East Bay. Some are still imprisoned. Most of the employees had
no criminal records. They were arrested for the crime of working to support their
families.
