Some of the states that oppose the sale of sparks are liquor control states which means that the sale of liquor and spirits is done through or by state governments and they sell brands like Jagermeister and Tarantula to name a few. What is the number one mixer for brands like this? you guessed it ENERGY DRINKS. Which contain the same ingredients as Sparks. To me it looks like these (control) states have already benifited from the mixture of alcohol and energy drinks and now will benifit even more with the premixed version off the shelves.
