Kaiser Permanente San Francisco Half Marathon & 5K Fun Run, 2009

It’s Super Bowl Sunday, so that means it’s time for ten thousand souls to go for a jog in the popular 2009 Kaiser Permanente San Francisco Half Marathon & 5K Fun Run. And just like last year, they started early and didn’t mess up Fell, Oak and Golden Gate Park (unlike the annual Bay to Breakers footrace, let’s say.)

Speaking of Kaiser, apply for some health insurance today – there are all kinds of different plans these days. (And don’t forget the San Francisco Health Plan, if you qualify.)

Do you get this happy when you jog? Consider signing up for the 2010 race. The 2009 benficiaries of the Kaiser include Koret Family House, the Harbor Light Center for Alcoholism and Drug Abuse, and Support for Families of Children with Disabilities. Click to expand:

SF Weekly writer Joe Eskenazi would be pleased to see that the Panhandle’s expen$ive, trucked-in-from-Kentucky public toilet was fully operational. (Don’t queue up, ladies, just use the men’s room – they won’t care.)

Going the wrong way down Fell Street. Can you see all the people on Oak in the background?

Here’s the course. You’ll be able to find the full race results here and here.

See you next year!

All the deets, after the jump.
