Waiting for MUNI on the Weekends – Knitting Helps Pass the Hours
The most popular pastime for MUNI riders on the weekends on the Streets of San Francisco is standing in traffic next to the bus stop and gazing up the street with a 1000-yard stare where-the-hell-is-it.
“The thousand-yard stare is the unfocused gaze of a battle-weary soldier. The stare is a characteristic combat stress reaction which is related to post-traumatic stress disorder.”
