Program 8 is great at our San Francisco Ballet – Romeo and Juliet just debuted on May Day but it’s already set to leave on Sunday, May 9th. (So now’s the time to plan a visit.) Overall, everything’s great – the music, the sets, the costumes, the dancing performances. What more can you ask for in a live show?
Stars Sarah Van Patten and Pierre-François Vilanoba and everyone else put on an excellent performance at Saturday’s debut. Read all about it courtesy of San Francisco Chronicle Dance Correspondent Allan Ulrich.
Sarah Van Patten is the ingenue:

Don’t be afraid to check back for cancellations if you see an entire section is already sold out. I talked to a couple from Baltimore who scored hard-to-get Orchestra seats by just calling up the afternoon before the show.
See you there!
