“Nigeria With Snow” – Why Medvedev Refuses to Meet With Google’s Sergey Brin

Seems that Russian President Dmitry Medvedev is having a thing with Google’s Sergey Brin because Sergey criticized Mother Russia as being, among other things, nothing but “Nigeria with snow.”

Ouch. Hope that doesn’t cause too much trouble this week for Vladimir Putin’s favorite pet.

But look, Dmitry just loves his Apple MacBook. And Linkin Park, and $23k DSLR cameras too.

    It’s funny that russophobe Brin uses the same terminology as Russians when they talk about Americans: “crazy cowboys”. It’s quite possible that he learned that slang from his Russian parents when they discussed America :)
