Most of the people I saw Young Frankenstein with down at the Golden Gate Theatre appeared to be highly familiar with the highly-rated movie from 1974. The show I saw was a sell-out, but you should be able to get tickets now before this joint leaves us on July 25th.
If this kind of humor isn’t your kind of humor, I can accept that. I’ll just note that, AFAIAC, there’s nothing to disagree with here at the SF Theatre Blog.
And KGO-7’s Don Sanchez seemed to have a blast when he recently visited backstage – check it.
Camp, as you would expect:
It’s a well-done production. See you there!
And, don’t miss the Hat Lady:
“YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN, TALK BACK NIGHTS!
“Immediately following the performances on Friday July 9 and Friday July 16, Jan Wahl, entertainment reporter for KCBS radio and KRON TV, will host a free talk-back and Q&A with the cast of YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN.
