Consarn it, I remember all the way back to aught-eight, back when Outside Lands was rocking, baby. This year, I don’t know if it’s worth the effort of figuring out how to sneak in to see the “lackluster lineup” for 2010. Is it possible that this event is now too well-managed, too organized? Or, maybe not having a headliner hurt?
Jimthecritic is critical, anyway:
“I didnt release how much smaller outside lands was gonna be. fewer stages. one whole less area.”
And when they start saying stuff like this after only two years:
“It may not be the greatest Outside Lands lineup ever…”
Well, it’ll make you pine for the Beck, for the Radiohead, technical issues or no. Oh well.
At least both of the Outside Lands windmills windmill – that’s more than what we can say about the real ones in Golden Gate Park…
