You wouldn’t believe how many police cars came to this scene here on McAllister the other day.
You know what a Ford Crown Vic sounds like when you floor it for four seconds or so? Well, that distinct induction noise came out of the radio car coming from Fifth Street on the wrong side of Market and probably a lot of the ten or so other vehicles that showed up with a quickness.
Obviously a call went out about an officer in danger.

Seemed to me a fairly routine deal.
You get into the habit of rolling everybody out at maximum speed for every little thing and then it doesn’t seem as dangerous at it might be.
