Said light should be coordinated with the lights at the nearby intersection of Stanyan and Fell.
With the way things are now, with the stop sign, you get traffic backed up all the way to the Conservatory of Flowers.

Never noticed a problem before. But usually I’m rolling through on my biek.
That intersection is only for out-of-towners and “novatos”; but I’m not sharing the quick and easy.
Seems like the JFK cycletrack may be getting somewhere. Maybe a light could be coordinated with that.
Well, as you roll through on your bike, you gotta realize you need to stop for the stop sign. (Park Station hands out tickets for cyclists who don’t, sometimes, so that’s something to look out for.)
But you’d need to stop anyway most of the time owing to all the traffic what has the right of way. Those right-on-red drivers coming from Stanyan start dribbling through after Fell turns red so it’s tough for even cyclists to make it through sometimes….
