    Weird. “Torture” was kind of a catch phrase during the season last year, but this is a VERY awkward use of it.

    I doubt he did, but wondering why it’s mentioned in a mortgage company banner is a legit question.

    Honestly, I didn’t connect the word torture with the Giants at first, even though the letters are in orange (sort of).

    (I can think of fans of other teams who are more entitled to use that phrase, frankly.)

    So, at first, I thought of the true sense of the word, and then I saw “mortgage” so I thought that was a ref. to the losses suffered recently by those involved in the real estate industry.

    My bad, I s’pose…

    Can you deduct this from your taxes when you do a coporate ad like this? Seems you shouldn’t be able to…
