Just as long as she doesn’t sing anything from “The Wiz.” She managed to turn a wonderful Broadway show into a real turd.

  2. sfcitizen says:

I’ll have to check that one out. thx

  3. MC from Philly says:

“Turd?” Great and classy first post of comments. Maybe that is indicative of why she has taken so long to return. With all of the career achievements of this great star, this is what you have to say. Since she is not playing our town, you need to be grateful. She is one of the last of the great entertainers (meaning she really sings live) and you are quite lucky to have her perform for you. We can all do with less negativity, Jezebel.

Love Diana Ross. She is beyond legendary. I saw her when she appeared in San Francisco last, but it wasn’t 1969, because Florence Ballard was still with the group when they appeared at the Venetian Room. She left the group in 1967 I believe, but why quibble not everyone was around 40 yrs ago or 42 years ago. By the way I saw her June of last year and she sang “Ease on Down the Road” from the Wiz and it was awesome. Can’t wait.

  6. Leigh Stewart says:

I saw her in Chicago. We,the fans raved. This lady’s elegance, class, and unique vocals had everybody on their feet.Everybody was singing, dancing and just had a ball and when she did Reach out and touch the love vibrations was felt all over the room, and by the way Ease on down the road was truly awesome!!!
