Wasn’t this Willie Brown’s idea to get back at those who didn’t praise him 100% of the time? Pretty much.

Nobody really uses these things anymore and newspaper owners need to pay for rent on a monthly basis - that’s not fair, is it?

Weren’t we better off with those old-fashioned newspaper boxes?

    No one uses these? Check out the ped-mounts in front of the Orbit Room at Market/Hermann streets. SF BG and Weekly are often “sold out.”
