Can you tell which of these two signs has been posted by the City and County of San Francisco and which has been posted by area NIMBYs? It’s easy, really.
The no turn on red sign is built to last, plus it has ID numbers on the bottom.
OTOH, the “BUYING OR SELLING TRANSFERS WILL RESULT IN YOUR ARREST” sign, despite being installed well, looks like a fake POS.

Reminds me of the annoying fake “No Parking” signs people put up to try and stop others from parking in front of their houses. I’m always surprised by how many people seem to believe they are enforceable…. I always intentionally park there, even if there are other spots available.
Yeah, some people in the Sunset and the Richmond especially think that they own the land in front of their houses…
