The San Francisco Botanical Garden Society calls all the shots here.

Taxpayers foot the bill for everything: the two sets of ticket booths, tickets, maps, cell phone bills....you name it.

The San Francisco Botanical Garden Society uses the grounds for their private fundraising and uses public space to grow plants (again with beaucoup city buck$) for sale.

Locals have no input.

All of the decisions are made by people who live outside SF, including the new CEO, a lawyer who lives in a mansion in Fremont!

Things need to change!!!!!

A few weeks ago I saw a hawk carrying a rat or some other little animal, and two crows harassed him until he dropped it and they made off with it. This was right above the central Mission! Pretty amazing.
