That’s why I cut back on contributions to the Food Bank. It pains me to think that people are going hungry, but it pisses me off to see long lines at the locations that I frequently pass, then see the street sales or fresh items get tossed in the gutter, i.e.., check out the corner of Grove and Buchanan, or the corner of Duboce and Belcher; iceberg lettuce? no use for it, so it gets tossed.
Grove and Buchanan, huh? I think I’ve seen the lettuce there…
