Is this the statue that Angela Alioto wants to move to North Beach to be a part of a City-sanctioned Catholic shrine on Vallejo?

    There is a shrine to St. Francis in North Beach.

    Well, yeah, but without permanently shutting down a block of Vallejo and also without the statue.

    And I don’t think it’s the #2 tourist attraction in SF either.

    Anyway, it’s not in the way so I guess Angela lost that one…
