    No ordinary Dwarf was he. One of that small party that set out to retake the Lonely Mountain from the dragon Smaug, and against all odds did so. He did not rest upon his laurels even then, but set out to retake Moria from the orcs, and rebuild the glory of Khazad-Dum. Though his body fell, he is yet more alive than ever in our memory. Let that memory always inspire us to greatness and courage.
