Am I missing something here? Is she licensed in Botswana or someplace?

    You are not a lawyer until you are admitted to practice in a jurisdiction. Period. Under no circumstances can Ms Madison refer to herself as a non practicing lawyer before that qualifying event occurs.

    She is in violation of the law and should be reported to the California State Bar.
