    That’s probably why the huge food giveaway at the Korean centre located on Buchanan & Grove came to a screeching halt; too much wheeling and dealing with the largesse and good intentions of San Franciscans.

    It’s a great deal, and they need the $.

    “…..and they need the $.” – yeah, by taking the food away from the truly needy and placing unnecessary stress on the agencies/businesses/citizens who donate food and money.
    What they don’t deem “marketable” they toss in the garbage or leave on the sidewalk, including such perishables as lettuce. Stand at the N-Judah stop on Duboce & Church, or Grove & Buchanan and watch it play out.

    Terrible – see these people near the Anchor Steam brewery lining up for the free food at a non-racially identified church. 98% of them are of Asian appearance. Always assumed they were reselling, this photo confirms it. A culture with seemingly no shame.
