I really wish that you hadn’t posted this photo, because UPS’s habits in San Francisco pisses me off like few other scofflaws do. Cumulatively, UPS in one of the leaders slowing down both public and private transit in this city. I strongly believe that their blocking streets and avenues slows down Muni considerably, enough to cost the city, businesses, citizens, workers, students, etc. a financial burden through lost time. Even in the wilds of the Outer Sunset they stop in the middle of streets when they can just easily move to the curb.
Their delivery mode is more antagonistic to the smooth flow of people and vehicles in this city, and I don’t know why/how they haven’t had their shirt yanked on this.
The above doesn’t let brewery, soda, chip, FedEx, taxis off the hook, but UPS is glaring in its disregard for this city’s transit problem.
