First We Steal the Hetch Hetchy Valley, a Little Yosemite, and Then We Waste the Electricity It Provides

In 1870, Muir called Hetch Hetchy Valley “a wonderfully exact counterpart of the great Yosemite.”

Then we flooded it, for water and for the juice, the precious juice.

And now we waste the juice by leaving our lights on all the live long day:
