PEAK UBER? – A Cassandra on Market Street is All, “$0 = How Much Your UBER Stock is Worth in a Year”

Tuesday, February 28th, 2017

UBER’s had a bad stretch of news lately, and now this:

As seen on an empty stretch of Market last night during a(nother phony, phoned-in) bomb threat and necessarily taken as a panning shot due to the (purposefully) abysmal 5MP camera on my $69 Samsung Galaxy J3. (Cf. the much better cam of an S7 Edge – it’s a night-and-day difference.)

So that’s it, let’s wait and see how much your chunk of Uber is worth (you know, assuming that they have an IPO in 2017 and assuming that you don’t get Zynga’ed afore then) on February 27, 2018…

Here’s a good one, been there for a while, prolly will be there for a while longer since SFGov’s Holiday Tree Recycling Program is long since over:

And here’s another good one, it’s been on the mean Streets of San Francisco for a couple weeks now, after getting moved here and there:

But now it’s been properly disposed of by passersby, thank goodness:

SFMTA “Sting” Operation Snares Deadbeats, Even on Saturdays – Northbound #43 Masonic at Fulton

Saturday, February 25th, 2017

Normally it’s totally cool to not pay your MUNI fare, but not today on the #43 Masonic:

Oh, but wait, this isn’t at all a sting operation, ’cause that kind of thing involves some sort of subterfuge, right?

So when you move here from New Yawk and then start talking about:

“…a sting operation in the wiggle…”

or wherever, where the cops just park their cars or motorcycles and just stand there five feet past a stop sign, well I just gotta say no, that’s not what a sting operation is. Sry.

(What’s that, you didn’t see the cops? Well, you should be looking around more – pay attention, fool!)

Anyway, most people stopped on this day, but not all, oh well:
