The Quiet Chaos Resulting from a CCSF Campus Not Opening Its Parking Lot for an Hour – Endless Double Parking and Blocked Buses

IDK, I’ve never seen this, in all my years – people double parking near the CCSF John Adams Campus for up to an hour, ’cause somebody forgot to open the gate:

And this is around the corner – it took this #21 Hayes driver a couple minutes of beeping / waiting to buck up the courage to pass traffic what seemed way too far to the left:

But everybody else waited patiently, as if there were no other place in the world to park. Then at 7-oh something AM, the gate opened and Life went back to normal:

How wedded CCSF is to the automobile.

Too bad MUNI sucks…

Well, 21, 43, 38, 31, 5, 21, 6, 7 are all within reasonable walking distance. Better to give up that car, devote the money to education/degree/training at CCSF and/or savings and move up the ladder slowly, but steadily. And get some exercise to unfreeze the morning brain before class. The car is a money-sucker par excellence.

It’s astonishing how many people drive to this school – some students but also teachers and staffers. This area certainly isn’t MUNI’s worst…
