And what the hell, why not take the tour, April 25, 2018?

“Construction of a new Navigation Center is currently in the works at Division Circle at Divison St. and South Van Ness Ave.

Join us for a tour of the construction site and to learn more about San Francisco’s Navigation Centers.

The City’s game-changing Navigation Centers are proving to be a successful model to provide shelter and services for homeless people living in street encampments, offering them not just beds, showers and meals, but also health care intensive case management and other support on their jounrey toward more stable housing.

Tours are free. However, space is limited and pre-registration is required.

Personal protective equipment is required to enter the construction site. Guests will be asked to sign a safety waiver prior to starting the tour.

Please meet outside 30 Van Ness at 1 p.m. to start the tour. We will provide free transportation to the project site.”
