Josh Kornbluth’s Andy Warhol Show at the CJM is Highly Entertaining

Tuesday, January 13th, 2009

Here’s what they’ve got for you these days over at the San Francisco Contemporary Jewish Museum in the SOMA: well-researched, accessible art criticism from the entertaining Josh Kornbluth. There’s been good reviews for the Andy Warhol: Good for the Jews? one man show.

How will you react to seeing art with “no heart or soul?” Josh will walk you through it all. The upcoming shows are all selling out so they’ve added another, but you might need to hurry.

Rest assured, Josh doesn’t do the show in whiteface and hipster turtleneck (above) when he’s riffing on Warhol’s Jews: Ten Portraits Reconsidered.

See you there!

[UPDATE: A review in The New York Times from April Dembowsky.]
