Monday, September 17th, 2012

You know, in addition to all the iPhones:

Next month, fences will have to start charging 10 cents for each booty bag. Cause it’ll be The Law. So that’ll be $20 for that TV plus 10 cents for the bag. And the remote? Well, you’ll have to look it up and buy one online…

OMG, FTJ FTJ, I’m Totally Blogging This! The New MINI Countrymans Arrive on Market Street, USA

Friday, March 4th, 2011

Or Countrymen. Or Countrypeople, Countrypersons, Countrymen and Countrywomen, or Countrywomyn, you get the idea. Whatever you call them, they’re finally here, and yesterday, anyway, there were being paraded up and down Market Street. This frisson will certainly FTJ, indeed.*

They sure look like regular MINI’s but they’re much bigger. These new Countrymans are the SUVs of the MINI world.

Can you see the taxi the white one is next to? There’s not a whole lot of difference in size:

But in a moment, they were gone, stretching up Market and into infinity:

Oh, and here’s last month’s stunt:

Will MINI of San Francisco mark up the prices on these new models even more than usual? Signs point to YES. (Frankly, you’re a fool if you buy a vehicle from that outfit. Just saying. Bro. Oh, wait a second, That Other MINI Dealership is how far away from the 415? Oh, man, that’s far.)

Anyways, enjoy your new little-giant MINIs…

*(Masturbation reference noted.) That clip shows movie director Michael Bay’s view of blogging. Of course, Hollywood, more than most places, has issues. It can’t never tolerate criticism, seemingly.

New MINI Cooper Countryman Gives a Lift to an Old MINI Cooper on Market Street

Monday, January 24th, 2011

Last I saw, the MINI dealer in San Francisco was asking $3500 over MSRP and tacking a bunch of crap onto the Monroney such that a one-year-old S-model convertible model was going for close to $40K. Oh well. The lesson is that you should never ever buy a MINI at poorly-rated MINI of San Francisco.

Anyway, enjoy this specter:

Surprised the little white MINI doesn’t have a contrasting roof color like all the others:
