Sucker Watch: Most Participants Won’t Pay to Enter the 2013 Bay to Breakers Fun Run So Why Should You?

Tuesday, April 30th, 2013

Oh, you are a sucker. Well, then be my guest – pay $48 for a number. And actually, and you’ll enjoy this, sucker, it’s already too late to get a good deal on registration for 2013. Prices be higher now.

Most people who aren’t professional runners  don’t pay and here’s a good reason not to pay:

Your money goes directly to “Christian Billionaire” Philip Anschutz.

And then he takes your $$$$$ and uses it to, over the years, oppose the concept of evolution and fund anti-gay efforts.

(It’s funny that he even took an interest in this historic fun run and street party but he likes running so there y0u go.)

The reason that organizers won’t say how many “bandits” show up for the party is because they don’t want you to think that most people don’t pay.

But, IRL, most people don’t pay.

If you don’t believe me then take a NSFW look right here.

How many bibs do you see? Every year they say they will eject all these people and every year they don’t actually do it.

Now the San Francisco Nike Womens Marathon is different. You see, they give out coveted awards and people just can’t help themselves. And then stuff like this happens; “NO BIB NO BIB NO BIB!

But B2B aint like that.

One difference this year will be a limit on the size of the bags you might carry.

It’s like the size of Fook Mi’s backpack, best I can imagine.

All right, have a great 2013 B2B.

And if you want to pay money to somebody, just take whatever your reg fee is and give it to Pride or whatever.

End Of Line.

Would Christina Olague Have “Saved Rent Control?”

Thursday, November 8th, 2012

No, not at all.

So why did people hold a rally about former Interim Supervisor Christina Olague saving rent control?

On the steps of City Hall:

I know not.

Now, if you wanted to say that renters as a group, overall, would have been better off with a Christina Olague, or a John Rizzo, or a Julian Davis as Supervisor of District Five, well then you might have something…

I s’pose it doesn’t matter now.

District Five Recovery: LONDON CALLING – “You think I give a fuck about a Willie Brown at the end of the day?”

Wednesday, November 7th, 2012

All Hail London Breed:

You think I give a fuck about a Willie Brown at the end of the day when it comes to my community and the shit that people like Rose Pak and Willie Brown continue to do and try to controls things.  They don’t fucking control me – you go ask them why wouldn’t you support London because she don’t do what the hell I tell her to do.  I don’t do what no motherfucking body tells me to do.”

Hey, you think maybe she’s watchedYouTube, just a little?

(Hey, you know, the two times when Mayor Ed Lee did a little independent thinking since Willie Brown and Rose Pak got him appointed Mayor are when he appointed the fairly stupid Christina Olague to replace Ross Mirkarimi and when he advocated for the complete non-starter “stop and frisk program.”Perhaps he should just do what he’s told 100% of the time instead of 90% of the time?)

In any event, HERE COMES LONDON BREED:

And her boosters, including Renel in the Morning:

Kamala Harris, California Attorney General*
Rachel Norton, San Francisco Board of Education Member*

District Five Meltdown: The Problems with the Three Front Runners – Christina Olague, London Breed and Julian Davis

Tuesday, November 6th, 2012

[UPDATE: Yoops, this ended up not being the order of finish. Hey, perhaps Rose Pak is merely a paper dragon lady, powerless outside of the Realm of Stencil Voters and Oppressed (by Rose Pak et al) Newcomers? It's sure looking that way.]

In order of finish:

1. Back in the day, Christina Olague accepted the deal that Julian Davis and who-knows-who-else rejected. So that meant that she worked on the Run Ed Run campaign in exchange for the promise of later getting appointed as Supervisor of District Five.

Before, she was the Perjurer’s Helper, but is she now?

I don’t know. We’ll see.

IMO, her rise to power is (still, very possibly) a trap. We’ll see.

Despite recent events involving Sheriff Ross Mirkarimi, Christina Olague is still the choice of Rose Pak, Randy Shaw and the rest of San Francisco’s corrupt, government-subsidized, non-profit cabal.

And, apparently, CO is NOT the choice of the Ron Coates / Linda Voight / Ron Conway / Gayle Conway / Republican billionaire / real estate interests side of Willie Brown’s / Ed Lee’s conservative (for San Francisco) Democratic party faction.

You see, there’s a schism, these days, that’s wide out in the open for all to see. So, one side of the faction supports Eric Mar and Christina Olague and the other side supports David Lee and London Breed.

Speaking of which:

2. London Breed is the choice of the Ron Coates / Linda Voight / Ron Conway / Gayle Conway / Republican billionaire / RE interests side of Willie Brown’s / Ed Lee’s conservative (for San Francisco) Democratic party faction.

As she states, she can’t tell the Republican Billionaires of the Bay Area et uxes to stop supporting her, but why would they be spending all that money?

Mmmm…

That leaves us with:

3. Julian Davis, who recently DNQ’ed

Joe, I want to clarify that when you called me yesterday you did not tell me what you were calling about and I did not receive a call back later in the day. I am not going to comment further about anonymous uncorroborated attacks coming from your publication a week before Election Day. Voters I talk to in the streets are intelligent enough to see past the politics of personal destruction. Their concerns are real—a more affordable city, improved public transit and a better climate for small business, to name a few. Your readers would benefit from substantive reporting on these issues and on how the candidates differ on them. Julian Davis

Pwned:

Julian –Shortly after noon yesterday, I phoned your lawyer and asked him about the letter. Immediately afterward, I called you. You said you were on another call and asked if this was urgent. I replied that you should call me back as soon as you could. You said you would, and I was left with the impression you would phone back when you were off your call. That didn’t happen, and I got your voicemail when I called you at 2 p.m. Sadly, you did not call us back before our story went up at 8:30 this morning. This most recent allegation is neither anonymous nor uncorroborated. While the accuser’s name is not printed in our article, it was most certainly affixed on the letters she sent to you and your attorney. I agree with you that our readers would benefit from reporting on “a more affordable city, improved public transit, and a better climate for small business.” I disagree with you that we aren’t reporting on these issues:

Sincerely yours, Joe Eskenazi

So that takes care of that.

Oh, and who else? Thea Selby should have taken steps after news of that $10k of RE money had spread. She didn’t. (Perhaps she’s the other candidate that Mayor Ed Lee is “privately” telling his inner circle to vote for? Mmmm.)

And it looks like John Rizzo made some sort of deal with Christina Olague or whomever functions as the Progressive version of Walter Wong these days. We’ll find out what his reward is apres-election.

That’s my best guess.

District Five Meltdown: A Love-Letter from the Christina Olague Campaign to “Immature, Unfit” London Breed

Monday, November 5th, 2012

Don’t really get this one.

I thought the Olague / Rose Pak crew was going for a Heath Ledger Joker look, but that was just my imagination:

Anyway, it’s the word on the street, being illegally posted about D5 as you are reading this…

District Five Meltdown: Here’s the Entire Ad Against Christina Olague and Julian Davis and “Shell Oil”

Monday, November 5th, 2012

Oh, well, here’s the whole thing, or at least all of the back of the mailer.

(When they say Shell Oil, what they mean is Shell Energy North America.)

District Five Meltdown: Republican-Backed Hit-Piece Against Olague and Davis Features Solar-Powered Shell Station

Monday, November 5th, 2012

This is from the already-famous hit-piece mailer regarding Shell Energy and some candidates for District Five Supervisor.

Now, why did the dumb-clucks who made this ad decide to pick the world’s most solar-powered gas station?

I don’t know, because they don’t know what they’re doing?

NB: Your bad cosmetic surgery fools nobody. People laugh at you when your back is turned, you know, at those benefits ‘n stuff. Perhaps just aging gracefully is a better, safer option?

District Five Meltdown: Going Over Ivory Madison’s Sanctimonious YouTube Demo Reel Against Christina Olague, Line By Line

Monday, November 5th, 2012

Here’s a one-minute hit piece against Christina Olague from Ross Mirkarimi neighbor Ivory Madison:

Yes, she’s coming back for more.

You have the script so here my notes:

1. Your name is Ivory Madison for real? Oh. Really? How theatrical.

2. I think you mean former friend, right?

3. [Sanctimonious line reading but otherwise within the bounds of reality.]

4. I think I’m going to call bullshit on this one. That’s just your opinion, IM.

5. So you “contacted the police on her behalf” but without her permission? And in a maladroit fashion to boot, one might add. Like using your personal iPhone to do so, “anonymously.” You’re not that sharp, are you, IM?

6. [Sanctimonious line reading but otherwise within the bounds of reality.]

7. All right, I’ll bite. How does suspending Ross Mirkarimi protect victims of DV?

8. Uh Madison, I don’t think you can declare victory before a process ends, right?  And it turns out that Christina Olague’s vote didn’t matter nohow. You understand that, right?

9. You didn’t want to get involved? Are you fucking serious – who’s going to believe that, Huntress?

10. Voters need to know what Olague did? Don’t they know already? Mmmm…

11. Is Ross Mirkarimi a “convicted batterer” like in real life? What does the word “batterer” mean? What does the word “batter” mean? Oh, what’s that, you didn’t actually have a chance to learn that in colledge because you thought a high school diploma would suffice when applying to Stanford Law?  That might have worked for Daredevil Matt Murdock in the comix but I don’t think that kind of thing works IRL.

12. Um, I think Ross Mirkarimi is your Sheriff because your neighbors voted for him, like overwhelmingly, right? Didn’t you host a fundraiser for him?

13. Does Christina Olague really think “it’s OK to abuse your wife?”  Any support at all for this, you know, outside of this particular vendetta? Wow.

Hey Ivory. You talk about law school so much, why not just sign up for the state bar exam and study for it? You could pass if you applied yourself.

Just asking…

District Five Meltdown: How Linda Voight and Ron and Gayle Conway Spend their Money to Make Olague and Davis Look Evil

Sunday, November 4th, 2012

This is how they do it, with a flyer in the mail talking about how Christina Olague and Julian Davis support  giving nearly $20,000,000 a year to Shell Oil.

See?

Now, is that true?

No.

But it appears that Christina Olague and Julian Davis have run afoul of a few PG&E-loving Bay Area billioniares, et uxes.

Now, I’d call this cabal Conway/Coates, but they, and I’m seriously, call themselves:

“San Francisco Women for Accountability and a Responsible Supervisor Opposing Christina Olague 2012.”

So that’s SFWFAAARSOCA 2012 for short, sort of.

Here’s Tim Redmond’s take:

So-called DV group doing PG&E’s dirty work

Fair ‘nough.

But hey, do you see the orange skies up there, right where the heads of the progressive D5 front-runners have been Photoshopped?

Mmmm…

Hey, I know, let’s take Linda Voight and Photoshop her into a shot of the Great PG&E Pipeline explosion of San Bruno.

Thusly.

I see dead people:

Now doesn’t she look evil?

I think so.

How Can I Oppose Republican Billionaire Ron Conway’s Choice for D5 Supervisor If His Money is Supporting So Many Candidates?

Monday, October 29th, 2012

Tell me, is there a viable candidate for District Five Supervisor who isn’t being supported by Republican billionaire Ron Conway?

Now isn’t this one of RC’s bullshit Republican PAC’s?

I certainly think so.

So what’s up with this?

And this?

Now, here’s the latest on RC, from writer Gerry Shih.

(And actually, that bit should serve as a guide for kiss-ass “access writer” David Talbot.)

So I guess I’m left with John Rizzo?

I mean throw me a bone here, people. How many defective, DNQ’ed leading candidates can one supervisory race support?

I’m going to have to ponder this one…
