I don’t know.

I’m stumped on this issue – I can’t even hazard a guess as to the answer.
But I’ll tell you, I appreciate the way this particular parklet doesn’t block traffic the way the poorly-designed and overly wide Mojo Bicycle Cafe Parklet does block traffic…

Giant boxes in the harbor
Giant boxes made of aluminum**
Giant boxes, giant boxes
Giant boxes, all the same
There’s a green one and a red one
And a blue one and a purple one
And they’re all made out of aluminum**
And they all look just the same

Empty tanker Polar Alaska heads out back up to I’ll-give-you-just-one-guess as full container ships arrive from East Asia.

The Rockridge Trader Joe ‘s at 5727 College Ave is now using this giant model of the giant container cranes of the Port of Oakland to symbolize the City of Oakland.
Well played, Rockridge TJ’s.

The busy Port of Oakland has more international shipping containers than you can imagine.
That keeps the Star Wars AT-AT-looking container cranes busy all the time.

Not to be confused with the Disneyesque Farallon Restaurant on Post Street, the Farallones can only be seen from San Francisco on the clearest of days.
Atop Southeast Farallon Island is the Farallon Island Light, barely visible even in this magnified photo.

There’s a feeling I get
When I look to the west,
And my spirit is crying for leaving.
