The Great Christmas Tree of Civic Center will soon be back to counter the devilry recently inspired by the Great Buddha of Civic Center.
Now, they got rid of the Star of Bethlehem on top a couple years back but Your Favorite Christian Icon is a firmly entrenched San Francisco tradition. Look forward to its return in perpetuity.

It used to be decorated gayly, but the WASPs took care of that, remember? We’ll see how it goes this year.
And after that we’ll get holiday lighting at City Hall – it’ll look more like it’s for National Margarita Day but oh well…
