San Francisco’s famous New Federal Building on 7th Street (near the pizza-free Flank) might be too green for Platinum LEED status, but at least it illuminates the city at night, what with all these lights burning brightly.

Don’t Even Think About Parking Your Foreign Car Near the Old Federal Building

This is the scene at the San Francisco’s Old Federal Building on Golden Gate – yet another car with a foreign-sounding name getting a ticket for parking on a block reserved for American cars only.  

This gas-electric Toyota Prius hybrid stands out like a sore thumb in a row of “American” iron because the Feds generally need to comply with the Buy American Act from 1933.

So, if you’re going to park illegally on this part of Golden Gate Avenue, you better use an American-looking car. At least that way, you’ll have a chance of going unnoticed.
