Learn to love me
Assemble the ways
Now, today, tomorrow and always
My only weakness is a listed crime
My only weakness is … well, never mind, never mind

Oh, shoplifters of the world
Unite and take over
Shoplifters of the world
Hand it over
Hand it over
Hand it over

Learn to love me
And assemble the ways
Now, today, tomorrow, and always
My only weakness is a listed crime
But last night the plans of a future war
Was all I saw on Channel Four

Shoplifters of the world
Unite and take over
Shoplifters of the world
Hand it over
Hand it over
Hand it over

A heartless hand on my shoulder
A push – and it’s over
Alabaster crashes down
(Six months is a long time)
Tried living in the real world
Instead of a shell
But before I began …
I was bored before I even began

Asians + Gays + Women = Electoral Victory for Ed Lee in the 415? Check Out the Latest Demographic Push From “Run Ed Run”

Wednesday, July 20th, 2011

I don’t know, what motervates people to spend their weekends wandering Golden Gate Park gathering signatures for the election of somebody who said he’s not running?

I don’t know, it must be something. (I don’t think it’s anything grass-rootsy though.

See the rainbow and the leather cap? That means that Mayor Ed Lee is Good For Gays, apparently. Anyway, these gals seemed to be having a good time:

As Seen on Market Street: A Moto Guzzi and a Gaultier Pants (All Right)

Monday, January 10th, 2011

Man oh man I’d feel super self-conscious driving this rig around town wearing all these leather accessories, I’ll tell you. Appears as if at least six individual cows had to die for this ensemble. Wow.

And the bike, well, it’s an older model that’s been restored. At first I was thinking it was like a 2011 version of an Italian Harley, but now I’m thinking it’s not retro at all, it’s just an old bike in perfect shape.

Anyway, I always wondered what “a Moto Guzzi and a Gaultier pants” looked like, and now I know.

Ah, Memories – Parading Your Slave All Over SoMA at the 2009 Folsom Street Fair

Wednesday, October 28th, 2009

San Francisco’s Folsom Street Fair 2009 went down last month, but when you shoot film(!), as photographer Mikey Baratta does when he uses his Hasselblad(!) camera, well, it takes a while to get prints back from the FotoMat and scanned for uploading.

As here. It was a great day for walkies with the slave, past the guy with the Nikon, past the guy with the Canon, past the Leather Etc…(!) store. Click to expand:

7 for all Mankind Kicks Off its New Boutique in San Franicisco. Recession, What Recession?

Monday, March 23rd, 2009

Luxury denim maker 7 for all Mankind had a bit of a housewarming the other day for its relatively new San Francisco store at 224 Grant in Union Square. So that’ll be the only place in the Bay Area you can get its products outside of an upscale department store for now - don’t bother dropping by the Costco. (Of course Costco is the place to go to get lesser jeans that fall apart easily, looking at you Calvin Klein. Moving on…)

It’s Spring, time for a new collection. Some of the products are super soft and “pre-distressed,” so they look like some strangers’ prized broken-in jeans. That’s where your money goes.

Straight out of Los Angeles County. When pants have a serial number…

Accessories as well:

In the face of our recession, 7FAMK is opening up boutiques all over the country this year.

Somebody still has money to spend, apparently.

That’s encouraging. Srsly.

Supervisor Sophie Maxwell’s Barack Obama Handbag – For The Win

Saturday, February 28th, 2009

Here’s San Francisco Supervisor Sophie Maxwell TCB (Taking Care of Business) on a weekend trying to sort through issues relating to Speaker of the the House Nancy Pelosi and the Golden Gate Bridge. But what’s this – a vibrant Barack Obama leather handbag? Let’s take a closer look:

Is that a Coach Leatherware brass grommet? It seems to be:

Why doesn’t Coach follow the lead of Ben & Jerry’s and Southwest Airlines and make a million of these? They’d sell well.
