When Crybaby Millionaire Homeowners of the Western Addition Say That Bay To Breakers TRASHED Their Neighborhood, This is What They Mean

Monday, May 16th, 2016

This is pretty much the worst of it here, on Fell just north* of the Golden Gate Park Panhandle:

I’ll tell you, these generally wealthy, wizened, whites were more upset about BtoB back when some of them were temporarily upside down on their mortgages, say right around 2008-2010, but now things have improved for them so they’re less irate.

Still, they wake up and talk about how trashed things are, how oppressed they is.

And actually, this was one of the Fell Street party houses, so this is about as bad as things get anywho.

(All right, I gotta go. I’m closing a deal on a condo right under final approach for the long runways at SFO. And the funny thing is that I HATE HATE HATE airplane noise, but I figure I’ll start complaining so much that they’ll have to close down the whole airport and then my property’s value will climb. Anyway, that’s my plan – wish me luck! Oh, just joking. Hey, is now A Good Time To Buy? IDK. IDTS, but IDK. If you’re going to plant yourself for 30 years, then the answer is probably yes…)

*Really this is actual NoPA (North of Panhandle Area), which some people, and I’m srsly, now call West NoPA. But actually, NoPA is actually northeast of the Panhandle, so what these people are saying is west of north of east of the Panhandle, more or less, which is a little crazy but that’s how we roll in 2016

BLOCK THE TECH COMMUTE, etc

*Which is actually not a good day of the week to protest, since buses normally full Tuesday-Thursday are much less full on Fridays, not to go full Trotskyite on you, Comrades. I’m only just saying, Comrades.

Part of the blame has to do with Octavia Boulevard, and of course Fell and Oak aint what they used to be.

Anyway, this is what a “complete” street looks like.

I thought there might be an accident or construction on the other side of Scott up the hill, but no, it was clear as a bell over there.

Well, Here It Is – Here’s Your Newly-Repaved Kezar Drive, July 2014

Tuesday, July 1st, 2014

For the life of me, I can’t tell the difference between the bad, terrible, bumpy old Kezar (seen in the background) and the new, wonderful, freshly-paved Kezar (seen in the foreground), you know, except for the color.

So Yeah, Kezar Drive Will Be Closed Until July 3rd Starting Today, But Only at Night – From 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM

Monday, June 23rd, 2014

[UPDATE: Here’s a FaceBook posting from June 20th, from a less-than-reliable-source, one that earlier stated that this job already would have been done by now, that I don’t think you could find even if you searched for it, that’s designed mostly to take credit for a “job well done” (as opposed to informing the affected public (most of whom don’t even live in District Five)), that doesn’t even mention the terms SFMTA or DPW, that I suppose is a kind of official notice.]

Earlier, I read this sign as Kezar Drive Closed From June 23rd to July 30th, so I was baffled as to why there was nothing posted online on this topic.

So now, after taking a photo and looking at it, I see that the closure is for just 11 scheduled days and only at night.

See?

I’m still baffled as to why no SFGov entity has posted anything about this online, oh well.

Anyway, this thing kicks off tonight – here’s the foreperson getting ready for work.
