I’m not sure what it looked like at 420 Day Street in Noe Valley today, but I do know what it looked like on and around Hippie Hill in Golden Gate Park. It was packed for 4/20 Day celebrations.
Thousands turned out to consume marijuana, causing traffic gridlock* in the east end of the park.** (Hippies have lots of cars – did not know that.)
Broke Ass Stuart has a nice shot of the communal cloud, which could be smelled in the Panhandle.

*Perhaps MUNI could operate a special “420 service” from Civic Center BART every April 20th, maybe charge $4.20 one-way?
**A traffic light at the foot of eastbound JFK Drive at Kezar Drive certainly is called for, but doctrine mandates just having a stop sign.
