Here’s how things looked a few days ago.
You know these days, it seems I’ll see something on Twitter one week and then it will appear as graffiti the next week…
Remember back in the day, back when the world headquarters of Craigslist actually had a sign out front? I do.
Anyway, after a hasty paintjob to cover over the the craigslist sign on July 8, 2010, the date of this famous protest, somebody came by and painted again, so now you really can’t even tell a sign was there in the first place.
It’s too bad if the people of cragislist feel “censored” and feel that they get too much unwanted attention in the Inner Sunset.
Anyway, as it looks now:

Now, let’s peak through the metal growhouse/cathouse door grating, the kind that is so common in the Sunset these days.
Stage left has this defunct moniter that used to show the Craigslist Thrillcam:
Center stage is where you can find this sarcastic George Bush “We’re Gooder” bumper sticker on the front door. (That’s right up there with Google’s “Don’t Be Evil,” huh?
And stage right shows awards from some of the publications that craigslist is helping to put out of business:
But, from the sidewalk, you’d never notice any of this stuff. You wouldn’t know craigslist is inside at all.
I guess that’s the way they want it.
