I’m wondering how small a country has to be such that saying its name discloses the identity of any particular tourist in San Francisco.
Like if there’s a famous exchange program in Monaco (population 30k) and they send ten students a year to the States? That would seem to fit the bill, fair enough.
But what if the exchange student is from one of the following Big Ten tourist-producing countries (countries avec concomitant robust, aggresive media, of course)?

United Kingdom
France
China
Italy
Japan
Canada
Russia
South Korea
Mexico
If the student is from one of these countries, I’d be hard-pressed to see how saying the name of the country would identify any particular person from that country. Maybe there’s a written policy, or maybe there’s an unwritten rule, the way the MSM won’t report routine cases of Golden Gate Bridge jumpings?
It’s not easy getting a handle on things, based on what I’ve read. If the deputy AGs can establish a fingerprint match on a lighter, then what does that, by itself, prove about what Francisco Torres was actually doing on August 29, 1971?
Maybe a lot of people will show up this wednesday, maybe not. We’ll see.

SAN FRANCISCO, April 20 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — Pressure is mounting for an expanded probe of Weather Underground terrorists Bill Ayers and his wife, Bernardine Dohrn, and their alleged roles in the 1970 bombing murder of a San Francisco policeman. Larry Grathwohl, former FBI informant in the Weather Underground and author of Bringing Down America: An FBI Informer with the Weathermen, will repeat his sworn testimony that points to the involvement of the Weather Underground in the bombing murder of Sgt. The San Francisco Police Officers Association has publicly supported the call for a renewed investigation, saying the evidence points to Ayers and Dohrn as the perpetrators.
