So Prop 29 is about a $1-per-pack tax on cigarettes that we can vote on in a month? Well that’s news to me.
But look who’s against Prop 29 – it’s that famous convenience store what’s on Fulton and Masonic what can’t sell lottery tickets no mo owing to what some people, mind you, just some people, might possibly be tempted to label LOTTERY FRAUD.

Now here’s your Convenience Store Triad:
1. Alcohol sales to underage students from neighboring high schools and the University of San Francisco.
2. Cigarette sales.
3. Lottery ticket sales.
So, if you lose one leg of your triad, you’ve got to make sure not to lose the other two, that’s one conclusion you might draw…
Here’s what you do, you imagine this old guy on the left taking a picture of himself naked holding his wiener and then sexting it to you. Can you imagine?

I guess that’s what MSM-guy Chris Hansen dude recently did to some younger woman.* (That must have come as a surprise to Chris Hansen dude’s wife. Or not.)
Anyway, as you can see, Chris Hansen the sexting perv came to San Francisco recently.
Why? He came to punk unsuspecting store clerks who foolishly told their fake customers that their faked lottery tickets were losers only to try to cash the fake winning tickets in for themselves.
Like at the Lincoln Park Market on Clement in the Outer Richmond and the Fulton Food Shop in the Western Addition.**
Check it, cold busted:
(And oh, I see, you give the $10,000 winning ticket to your gf for her to cash it in, you know, cause it might look a little auspicious if you, the Kwik-E-Mart owner/clerk, yourself did it? Wow, that’s using your noodle. Or not.)
(This is the kind of thing that belongs on SFist.com, but I don’t think it’s been there.)
I’m sorry, why do we even have a lottery in California? Seems like a magnet for fraud and other unhealthy activities, just saying.
And like your lottery ticket money goes to pay the State of California to go around and bust store clerks? Seems kind of pointless to me.
All right, signing off from the stoop of the Fulton Food Shop, kitty corner from Chris Hansen’s stand-up in front of the Fulton Street Lucky a few weeks back.
That’s right, I’m Rapping 2 U, C.H:
I didn’t see him touch his wiener or nothing…
**Sorry, you can’t buy lotto tickets at these stores anymore as the State of CA no longer deals with them.
I don’t know, can’t tell.

But something MSM-y was going on at Fulton and Masonic the other day.
Maybe dude, if it was him, is a touch camera-shy these days, can’t imagine why.
This bus ad doesn’t say The Streets of San Francisco, oh no, it says The Treats of San Francisco.
See? (The fine print in the ad says that MUNI has permission from CBS to run to use the SoSF logo, so everything’s nice and legal.)

Isn’t this ad kind of a rip-off of Greg Dewar’s N Judah Chronicles?
Signs point to yes.
Speaking of whom, here’s MUNI’s Death Spiral from Greg Dewar and Joe Eskenazi. (Boy, the head of MUNI at the time just flipped out, I mean, really flipped out over this bit in the SF Weekly from last year. He hosted a big meeting in response to this one article. It was epic, I’ve been told.)
Anyway, do you know what that “treat” is, the one referenced in the MUNI ad?
It’s the price increase what starts today.
Hurray!
Owing to Program 4 at the San Francisco Ballet, I missed my chance to see Steve Wozniak emcee the Bay City Bombers’ season opener last weekend. But this short vid eases the pain. Will this Apple co-founder join in on the fun in the near future?
You Make The Call.
The Woz at Kezar Pavilion on Stanyan last Saturday:
Your next chance to pay $10 to see banked tracked roller derby comes up May 1st, 2010, when Orlando’s finest rollers come to town.
See you there!
Via SFist comes the news of Steve “The Woz” Wozniak starting up the Roller Derby game at Kezar Pavillion at 775 Stanyan Street just up from Haight this Saturday, March 6th, 2010.
Will he bring his Segway along, or maybe Steve Jobs too? We Can Only Hope. Tickets still on sale.
After this, maybe San Francisco will get it’s own ‘Woz Way” the way they have it down in San Hoser.
Your Bay City Bombers in action on the banked track. Ask yourselves, if it’s not on a banked track is it really Roller Derby?
See you there!
This guy is all over town- see him with his surfboard trailer coming back from a day at dolphin-rich Ocean Beach? On this part of Scott Street in the greater NoPA / EaPA / Alamo Square / Western Addition area, he needs to take both lanes and snake his way up, as if he were ascending the twisty bit of Lombard.
Which is fine – dude’s a stud, of course. But it seems that $20 worth of Chinese derailer and cassette would be the perfect finishing touch for this expensive custom-looking rig*. Unless “too many gears spoil the ride” or something.

Keep on keeping on.
*Upon further review, this thing is so custom that it might not actally be considered an MTB – the rear tire appears to be a good deal narrower than the front, for example. Wonder if the tiny surfboard wheels are in matching carbon fibre. Wouldn’t be surprised…
