Word from Spain: Most of Real Madrid’s Big Soccer Stars are Coming to Candlestick August 4th

Here’s the latest about the big soccer match coming to town on August 4th. Word comes from Spain saying that the bulk of their famous roster is coming to town. Per Francisco Hernández, Director of Online strategy for Real Madrid C.F.:

“It’s hard to say, but in principle most of the stars will be in the game. This game is not a ‘show game’ but a pre-season game. Do not miss it!”

So we might not get to see all the big stars from R.M.C.F., necessarily, but this will still be a big match.

San Francisco can look forward to more famous soccer players coming to town for the big Real Madrid vs. Club America match coming to San Francisco on Wednesday night, August, 4, 2010.

Tickets start at $35. This could be a popular event, the way things are going…

And look, they’ll have their new uniforms:

Cristiano Ronaldo, plays as a forward for Spanish club Real Madrid and serves as captain of the Portuguese national team. Spanish Soccer Giant to Play Club America August 4th in San Francisco

Real Madrid Club de Fútbol will play the Washington Generals, Club America, Mexico’s Club América. Check it:

Alta California in the hiz-ouse, boy-eeeee. Here’s the new roster of Real Madrid players who are coming to San Francisco, people like Cristiano Ronaldo, Kaka, and Iker Casillas.

Supposeably, you can get seats for $35 per, but the cheapest tickets I could find on TicketMonster were $55 plus a $10 service charge plus a $3 printing fee. Oh well. You might be able to get some sort of Club America fan discount  – check out the local sponsors if you want…

Paul McCartney has announced two new performance dates, the first at San Francisco’s very own AT&T Park on Saturday July 10th, and then at the Rio Tinto stadium in Salt Lake City on Tuesday July 13th, as part of his ‘Up and Coming’ 2010 tour. Keeping with his headline-making special concerts over the last few years, the tour will see the iconic star and his band play unique venues, places and locations; new cities he’s never played and familiar markets he’s not visited for a while.”

After famous Conan O’Brien performed at his Legally Prohibited from Being Funny on Television Tour 2010 at the Nob Hill Masonic Auditorium on April 22-23 he headed south down to San Joser. But on the way, he managed to put in a visit to Google’s HQ in Mountain View. O.K. then.

Well, he was simply delighted with Google’s Japanese-made Toto toilets. Check the YouTube.
