Tenderloin Tableau: Pedestrian vs. a Yuppie’s Poor Volvo

This yuppie got delayed up a bit during his evening drive through the “Theatre District” and the Flank on his way back to San Mateo County the other day. He looked a little peeved due to the  pedestrian on the left smashing her fist onto the hood of his Volvo. It was quite the scene.

If You’re Going to San Francisco, Get a Small German Car Like Everybody Else

Now you’ve already seen at least one German car on the slopes above Haight Ashbury, here’s the rest of the hood. Start at the landmark Ben & Jerry’s at the intersection of Haight and Ashbury by heading uphill.

See how many small German cars you can spot one after the other parked on the street. My record is nine in a row. Here’s six altogether:

First come the radar trailers, then comes John Law, handing out the tickets on JFK Drive in Golden Gate Park. Your 11-99 Foundation license plate holder und ID card don’t work on City streets, don’t you know?
